Positioning your ideas in the research context (W14R)

One of the significant difficulties faced by research students is positioning and locating their own ideas in relation to their field and in the context of established research.

This session considers self-introspection as a strategy to develop analytic confidence and identity as a developing author.

This workshop is intended to propose (rather than prescribe) certain ideas that target your scholarly awareness of your chosen field, and to suggest the concept of authorial assertiveness as a formative reality rooted within your sense of critical self-worth.
