Thesis structure (W15R)

This is the stage where all academic research and writing processes come to fruition in the shape of a doctoral thesis. Following the same principles as paragraph and chapter construction, the thesis structure is destined to present the body of research in a coherent and fluent manner that showcases efficiently the quality of the author’s work.

Although the final structure is dependent on your discipline and even particular departmental requirements, this session presents a generic structural model which can be successfully adopted and adapted to suit those requirements. Furthermore, you will be provided with a vehicle to explore thesis planning from an early stage.
