Paragraph construction: elements and transition (W3R)

This workshop is an exploration of the microstructure of academic writing, outlining the methodology of creating the bigger macrostructural elements presented in the previous session (Elements of structure - W2R).

By the end of the workshop, you will have:

  • gained an understanding of the process of paragraph construction
  • assessed elements of paragraph structure and their dynamics in the context of thesis formulation
  • learned paragraph construction techniques
  • an awareness of two essential elements: transition and unity.
