Introducing our Scholarship Athletes 2017/18

This years cohort of #TeamWarwick Scholarship Athletes have officially been announced!

It’s amazing to have so much, and such great, sporting talent at the University of Warwick and it’s important to recognize and support those who are competing at the highest level, which the Scholarship Athlete programme allows us to do.

Attaining a sporting scholarship at the University of Warwick is not easy, therefore a huge congratulations to those who’ve been selected.

We hope you’ll all join us in supporting these Scholarship Athletes and look forward to following their sporting careers over this coming year. What this year may bring is an exciting prospect not only for the scholars themselves but also for sport at Warwick more widely.

You can find the full Scholarship Athlete profiles on the 1st floor balcony in the Sports Centre.

“This is an extremely exciting time to be part of Team Warwick Performance! In the past 12 months we have worked really hard to come up with a scholarship package that is focused on the athletes: supporting you both as an athlete and academically so that you can excel during your time here at Warwick.

This new approach to scholarships has attracted some excellent individual athletes to the University this year. All of us at Warwick Sport are extremely excited for the year ahead and can’t wait to see what you can achieve!”
