On Wednesday 21st March the Warwick Sport team completed a ‘Lucky Dip Sport Relief Mile’ as a group. Everyone who entered drew an unusual mode of travel out of a hat and used that to contribute to a mile e.g. hopping or skateboarding across the hall.
In addition, our partners at the Coventry United used their training session on our 4G pitch to take part in an event in aid of Sport Relief this week, where their young footballers each dribbled a ball for a mile.
Both Warwick Sport and Coventry United are proud to support good causes, like Sport Relief, and we would like to thank all involved for raising money for a worthy cause.
This is the first time the club has banded together to raise money for Sport Relief, with over 30 young players giving up their time to take part in the fundraiser at the Cryfield 4G Pitch, their base of training operations.
