Develop your skills or learn something new to become an official for a range of sports.

Official courses

C Award Netball Umpire course

  • Available to everyone
  • Limited free places for University of Warwick students*
  • Sunday 27 October 2019, 10.00am - 4.30pm
  • England Netball affiliation required. If you are not affiliated there is a £70.00 charge

This session will be delivering the course aspect from from the course pathway. To do additional aspects of the qualification, you will need to contact Netball England.

Level 1 Basketball Officials Award

  • Available to everyone
  • Limited free places for University of Warwick students*
  • Sunday 13 October 2019, 10.00am - 2.30pm
  • £17.00 per person

FA Basic Referee course

  • Available to University of Warwick students and staff
  • Saturday 2, Saturday 9 & Saturday 16 November 2019 (participants must attend all three to pass)
  • £145.00 per person (plus £30.00 if you do not have the FA Safeguarding qualification)

If you are not a University of Warwick student or staff member, you can still get involved in becoming a football official through the Football Association courses.

*University of Warwick students will be expected to volunteer your time through officiating in our intramural leagues in return for a free course place.
