To join a course you will need to book a 1:1 session to go through assessment, past medical information that may be relevant, introduction to neutral pelvis concepts and introduction to reformer.

What is Reformer Pilates?
The reformer is a versatile piece of Pilates equipment. Traditional Pilates exercises can be performed on the reformer for a challenging workout.
Springs, body weight and resistance is used to challenge your core control whilst targeting specific muscle groups for strengthening. The springs and resistance can also be used to give assistance with exercises and optimise function where required for rehabilitation.

Do I need to have done Pilates or used a reformer before?
You don’t have to have any previous Pilates experience. The beginners class will teach you all the key principals and progress through exercises at a comfortable pace for everyone. Each exercise can be adapted for an individual based on their ability. In 1:1 sessions, all basics will be covered and exercises tailored to your needs.
Who is it suitable for?
The reformer can be used for a variety of different conditions. With its focus on core control, it can be particularly beneficial for those with back or neck pain. We can also use it for strengthening hips, knees and shoulders. The exercises can be adapted for anyone with any level of fitness and for rehabilitation for most musculoskeletal conditions.
What do I need to bring?
Bring comfortable clothes which you feel you can easily move in. Some people also choose to bring a drink of water. All equipment required is provided for each session.
