What is the Festival of Careers?
The Festival of Careers is a programme of online events created to connect you with employers and help you develop your skills and think about your future. The autumn season of the Festival runs from the 1st of October to the 13th November, with a packed 7-week schedule of virtual careers fairs, webinars, workshops and interactive sessions.
The Festival brings together 10 virtual venues, designed to cover the broad range of career interests represented amongst students at Warwick. From The Boardroom business and finance hub to The Creative Stage, you will have a chance to explore a variety of sectors and opportunities and discover what's right for you. Employers include graduate recruiters, SMEs, and Not-for-profit organisations, from those on your doorstep to those from across the globe.
There are also 3 virtual careers fairs to visit that offer you a platform to meet with over 120 employers from all sectors and explore the opportunities available.
Alongside employers, the Festival provides the opportunity to hear authentic and inspiring stories from Warwick alumni. Learn first-hand from former students how their time at Warwick shaped their career path, and what working in their field actually looks like.
Finally, the Festival is underpinned by the expertise of career professionals in the Student Opportunity team. Staff will be running webinars and workshops designed to help you at whatever stage you are at in your career journey. Topics range from finding direction and discovering your career interests, to applications, interviews and assessment centres and succeeding in the workplace.
