Eligible full-time undergraduate students who are:
Foyer residents
Care Leavers
Students who have been in continuous full-time education and were in receipt of Income Support and Housing Benefits under the age of 19
are awarded the £1,000 Warwick Foyer and Care Leavers' Bursary.
To be eligible, you need to be:
A home (UK) student.
Assessed as an independent student by Student Finance England, Student Finance Wales, Student Finance Northern Ireland or the Student Awards Agency Scotland and in receipt of the full student support entitlement.
Studying a full-time undergraduate course at Warwick.
Able to provideevidence to support your circumstances – a letter from Social Services confirming you have been in care prior to taking up your place at Warwick or evidence that you have been in receipt of Income Support and Housing Benefit during your post-16 education (Foyer residents will be referred by the Foyer Federation).
Students who are eligible for the Warwick Foyer and Care Leaver's Bursary receive £1,000 per academic year.
The bursary is paid in equal termly instalments.
The bursary is designed to help with extra costs that may be incurred, such as accommodation during vacation periods.
