• The amount of support you will receive may depend on your household income and/or personal circumstances.
• If you are aged under 25 and applying for means-tested support, your entitlement will mostly likely be calculated using your parents income, unless you are considered an independent student.
• If you have dependants or a disability, you may be entitled to additional non-repayable help. In your first year, this support is offered through Student Finance England/ Wales. In years 2 to 4, it is available through the NHS.
• Your previous study at degree level means you are ineligible for the maintenance/ special support grant from the Student Loans Company and University bursaries and scholarships.
