Can we reinstate treatment after withdrawal?

Yes.

A participant had to withdraw from treatment as he could not commit the time to exercising as his wife was unwell. He had attended for his initial assessment and one follow up session.

Subsequently he has fallen twice and realises the importance of the exercise programme to help with his balance and strength and called the PreFIT office to enquire if he could start on the programme again or where he could get some weights.

After some discussion within the team we have decided to reinstate him in the treatment arm of the trial and the therapists involved are trying to book him an appointment and will be starting his programme again from the beginning.

If you have any queries similar to this or regarding this then please contact the study team.
