      <description>&lt;p&gt;If a participant has residual lower limb weakness as a result of an old stroke, it is perfectly acceptable to not use any ankle weights on the affected side if they are unable to do so,&amp;nbsp;but to carry on and use weights on the unaffected side if appropriate.&lt;/p&gt; 
&lt;p&gt;This change to protocol can be documented in the notes section of the PreFIT paperwork.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
