Hi Barry

Project aim is to create an Assignment Management application to manage e-submission of assignments and returning feedback.

As a department we have been using e-submission tools over a number of years and have developed our own approach to managing assignments and returning feedback using existing tools and based on what we have learned through experience.

This ITS project, very much in early stages, is looking to develop a new tool that can support all departments across the institution.

Assignment Management Usergroup

As you may already be aware ITS have started an “Assignment Management” project.

Departments are invited to comment on the ideas presented, contribute further ideas, amendments and observations. ITS stress the pilot will consider all aspects of the issue – not just technology and process. Working patterns, preferred working styles and departmental practices will also be considered.

Medical School is one of seven departments having representation on the usergroup.
