TEL Strategy

In order to coordinate and inform the University's approach to technology enhanced learning, there is a Technology Enhanced Learning Steering Group. It is a subgroup of the Academic Quality and Standards Committee (AQSC).

The TEL Steering Group has been asked to formulate a TEL strategy. The form this strategy will take is under consultation: it may become more of an implementation/action plan.

A draft "strawman" strategy has been drawn up to encourage discussion. The document is likely to change considerably based on the input of stakeholders and experts across campus. A commentable version of the strawman document is available (googledocs, log in not required).

This was discussed by the TEL Steering Group on 12th May 2014.

On 1st July 2014 there will be a discussion on the at the TEL Forum (2-4, Teaching Grid, Library). All are welcome, please register to attend.

The aim is to develop a draft strategy in time to consult with AQSC in autumn 2014.
