Warwick FTV's Tiago De Luca is the co-editor of the new collection, Elemental World Cinema: Cinematic Entanglements of Earth, Fire, Water and Air (Brill). Cinema Mentiré is hosting a programme of contemporary Latin American short films exploring the four classical elements on Friday 6th October.

A video essay by the department’s Tom Hemingway and James MacDowell was chosen by two contributors to Sight & Sound's best-of 2024 poll. Their video is about Bo Burnham's Netflix comedy special INSIDE, authenticity and YouTube aesthetics. The list also includes James' picks for best video essays of the year. FTV’s Hande Çayır publishes reflection piece on inclusive pedagogy in the latest issue of The Journal of PGR Pedagogic Practice

Hande Çayır’s reflection piece has been published in the latest issue of The Journal of PGR Pedagogic Practice. The article shares strategies found to be effective by a Graduate Teaching Assistant (GTA) for creating inclusive seminars, emphasising the importance of understanding diverse student needs, valuing feedback, and fostering a collaborative and supportive learning environment.

Alastair Phillips' final edited issue of Screen has just been published. Vol. 65 no. 3 (Autumn 2024) coincidentally features several articles and reviews by Warwick staff and students including Chris O' Rourke, Julie Lobalzo-Wright, Michelle Devereaux and Danielle Rae Childs.
