Dr Laura King has written an article for the organisation History & Policy, an independent, national initiative working to improve public policy through a better understanding of history. Laura's article, 'Supporting active fatherhood in Britain', is based on her historical research, and debates current policy issues relating to childbirth, paternity leave and child custody.

Coventry Mysteries Festival

We can confirm that Hiding in the Pub to Cutting the Cord? will be featured in an exhibition at the Coventry Mysteries festival on Saturday 16th June. We'll be there from 10am-4pm, with poetry readings taking place between 12 and 1pm. The exhibition will feature poetry and information about the project, and we'll also be offering children a free opportunity to come and make their own Father's Day cards!

Tickets have gone on sale for performances of 'Our Fathers' on 12th and 13th June. These performances will be followed by panel discussions with experts and researchers, who, with the audience, will reflect on the performance and issues relating to fatherhood in the past and present. Creative Writing Workshops - 29th/31st March
