11/06: Year 12 Languages Taster Day

A full day on campus for students in Year 12 who are considering studying a language as part of their degree. Students will experience the university campus, admissions/careers talk and seminar style taster sessions in a variety of topic areas. Choices from Hispanic Studies, French Studies, German Studies, Translation Studies, Italian Studies, Arabic, Korean, Japanese and Chinese.

05/05 9am-08/06 6pm: Mother Tongue Other Tongue Poetry Competition

Our theme this year is Nature and the Environment, all entries must relate to this. The competition is open to KS2,3,4 and 5 students with prizes for the winners in each category; Mother Tongue or Other Tongue.
