      <description>&lt;p class="newsItemTitle"&gt;Eight titles have been shortlisted for the 2023 Warwick Prize for Women in Translation.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The &#163;1000 prize was established by the University of Warwick in 2017 to address the gender imbalance in translated literature and to increase the number of international women&#8217;s voices accessible by a British and Irish readership. Now in its seventh year, the prize has received a record-breaking 153 eligible entries representing 32 languages &amp;ndash; the largest number of submissions to date.&lt;/p&gt;

      <title>From Warwick to the West End: Lemons, Lemons, Lemons, Lemons, Lemons</title>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;a href="https://www.haroldpintertheatre.co.uk/shows/lemons-lemons-lemons-lemons-lemons"&gt;Lemons Lemons Lemons Lemons Lemons&lt;/a&gt; premiered at Warwick Arts Centre in 2015 and won three Judges' Awards at the National Student Drama Festival, before appearing at Latitude Festival, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and Camden People's Theatre, London.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The play is now on in London's West End at the &lt;a href="https://www.haroldpintertheatre.co.uk/"&gt;Harold Pinter Theatre&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The playright, Sam Steiner, is an alumnus of Warwick University (English Literature 2014) and gave an &lt;a href="https://warwick.ac.uk/alumni/news-events/news/sam_steiner"&gt;interview&lt;/a&gt; to our alumni team about his experience of breaking into playwriting for stage and screen.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
