An invitation to think about AI in higher education. A poster campaign. <br /><br /> AI in Education is a Big Question project funded by the Faculty of Social Sciences, led by Siddharth de Souza, Yuxuan Chua, Maria Montero Sierra and Jennie Mills. Over two workshops in March 2026, students, academics, and professional services staff mapped the points where AI is encountered in academic life and used image and text to articulate what a good institutional response might look like. The conversations were sharper, more uncertain, and more interesting than the current discourse around AI in Higher Education tends to allow. <br /><br />Out of that material, the project team has produced a poster campaign &mdash; playful, pointed, and intended to open discussions. <br /><br /><strong>Aims of the project</strong> <br /><br />Identify the shapes and forms of AI interactions in higher education <br /><br />Review the purpose and intentions of these interactions, <br /><br />Identify what value is added and/or diminished through using AI <br /><br />Find what is missing from existing pedagogical models and policy documents <br /><br />Explore possible implications for learning, teaching, critical thinking, and creativity in the classroom to challenge the “unavoidable” AI omnipresent approach <br /><br />&nbsp;</p> Thu, 06 Aug 2026 17:56:00 GMT 8ac672c69fc59556019fd8389de86a5e
