Moodle unavailable 7th April 2020 07:00 - 08:00 am

Academic Technologies have informed me that Moodle will be unavailable on Tuesday 7th April from 07:00-08:00 am to allow our providers to perform an update to Moodle, to update plugins and to apply a number of fixes. The work is likely to take 15 minutes, however, Moodle itself will be unavailable for the full hour.

Moodle database scheduled upgrade

A change to the Moodle database has been scheduled for Tuesday 3^rd March from 07:00-09:00 am as part of ongoing work to improve the performance of Moodle.

Moodle essential maintenance

Tuesday 17th July 2018 is the confirmed date for the annual Moodle upgrade. Moodle will be upgraded to version 3.4.

Moodle Super User Group

The Academic Technologies team have created a new group aimed at providing support for what they call Moodle 'super users' i.e. those staff with greater permissions than those staff in standard teaching roles.
