      <title>Working Futures projections for Wales Economic Regions published</title>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;img border="0" src="https://warwick.ac.uk/fac/soc/ier/news/working_futures.png?maxWidth=230&amp;amp;maxHeight=230" alt="" style="margin: 10px 20px 10px 20px;" align="left" /&gt;Working Futures 2017-2027 projections for the Economic Regions of Wales are now available. Read the report, published by the Welsh government, &lt;a href="https://warwick.ac.uk/fac/soc/ier/wf7downloads/wf7_summary_report_wales_2017-27.pdf"&gt;here &lt;/a&gt;and access the Excel workbooks from the sub-regional projections link &lt;a href="https://warwick.ac.uk/fac/soc/ier/wf7downloads/"&gt;here&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Please note that these projections were created when it was expected there would be a negotiated Brexit and before the Covid-19 pandemic, which may result in considerable disruption to the UK and world economic system.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

&lt;p&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.cedefop.europa.eu/en/publications-and-resources/publications/3077"&gt;Cedefop (2018) Skills forecast: trends and challenges to 2030. Cedefop reference series 108, Luxembourg: Publications Office of the European Union.&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;IER has been involved in producing these comprehensive and detailed forecasts since their inception in 2005. The latest project which runs until 2020 is now being led by our long standing partners Cambridge Econometrics.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
