Golf Society win Thriller v Warwickshire Seniors

The University of Warwick Staff Society avenged last year's humiliating defeat to come out on top in the annual fixture versus the Warwickshire Seniors 3-2.
Barr/Monnington and Johnson/Heydari put the society 2-0 before the seniors defeated Stranks/Colledge and Dhesi/Salt to make it 2-2 with one result to come in.

It was up to the Mark's Evans and Crook who won the match on the final green.

Second with 35 points - Jon Stranks.

Third with 33 points -Joe Barr.

Fourth with 31 points -Mark Soule

Nearest Pin - Jim Rushton

Longest Drive - Jon Stranks .

Our next outing is on Wed Sept 11 th folks at Hearsall Golf Club. The first tee time is at noon and the cost including the golf, post-match meal and prize fund is £36 per player.

Staff Golf Triumph over Warwickshire Seniors

Congratulations to the University of Warwick Staff Golf Society who retained the trophy by halving the annual match versus the Warwickshire Seniors.

Messrs Smith and Colledge / Monnington and Dawson won their matches.

Messrs Heydari and Gamble /Telis Smith and Stranks halved.

Messrs Dhesi and Sault / Woodland and Pepper suffered noble close defeats.
