At its meeting held on 9 October 2014, the University Council resolved that the proposed amendments to University Regulation 9 Governing the Constitution of Boards of Examiners be confirmed.

Revisions to Regulations 6, 7, 9 and 34

At its meeting held on 9 July 2014, the University Council resolved that the proposed amendments to University Regulation 6 governing the Research Degrees be confirmed.

At its meeting held on 9 July 2014, the University Council resolved that the proposed amendments to University Regulation 7 governing the regulations for the Award and Tenure of Scholarships be confirmed.

At its meeting held on 9 July 2014, the University Council resolved that the proposed amendments to University Regulation 9 governing the regulations for the Constitution of Boards of Examiners be confirmed.

Revisions to Regulations 8.10, 36 and 38.12

At its meeting held on 14 May 2014, the University Council resolved that the proposed amendments to Regulation 8.10 governing Regulations for the Degrees of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MB ChB) and for the Bachelor of Medical Sciences (BMedSci) be approved.

At its meeting held on 14 May 2014, the University Council resolved that the proposed amendments to Regulation 36 governing student registration, attendance and progress be approved.

At its meeting held on 14 May 2014, the University Council resolved that the proposed amendments to Regulation 38.12 governing Regulations for the Degree of Doctor of Clinical Psychology (DClinPsych) be approved.

Revisions to Regulations 38.3 and 36.1.7

At its meeting held on 13 February 2014, the University Council resolved that the proposed amendments to Regulation 38.3 governing Research Degrees be approved.

Revisions to Regulation 31

At its meeting held on 10 October 2013, the University Council resolved that the proposed amendments to Regulation 31 governing the use of the University Computing Facilities, be approved.

Revisions to Regulation 8.10

At its meeting on 10 July 2013, the Council confirmed revisions to Regulation 8.10 following the introduction of a refreshed curriculum. These revisions apply to students registered for their first year in the academic year 2013/14 onwards, and it should be noted that the previous version of the Regulation remains applicable to students registered for their first year prior to the academic year 2013/14.

Revisions to Regulation 4.10

At its meeting on 10 July 2013 the Council conformed revisions to Regulation 4.10 to reflect practice in relation to the constitution and application of the appeals process; specifically, revisions address the issue of the timeframes for appeal, formalise the composition of the Appeals Committee and clarify the process to be followed by the Appeals Committee.

Revision of Regulation 23

Regulation 23 that governs Disciplinary Regulations was fully revised and renamed 'Student Disciplinary Offences' on 12/09/2013.

Regulation 23 was approved by the Senate at its meeting held on 3 July 2013 and by the Steering Committee on behalf of the Senate at its meeting held on 22 July 2013.

Regulation 23 was confirmed by the Pro-Chancellor and Chair of the Council on behalf of the Council on 12 September 2013.
