      <title>Student Printing Facilities - Now available within the University House Atrium - 03/04/2020</title>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;In response to customer queries and demands, two &lt;a href="https://warwick.ac.uk/services/its/servicessupport/printing/studentprinting"&gt;Student Printing&lt;/a&gt; colour &lt;a href="https://warwick.ac.uk/services/idg/services-support/printing/news/uh_atrium.jpg"&gt;Kyocera A4/A3 MFDs&lt;/a&gt; have been located in the &lt;a href="http://campus-cms.warwick.ac.uk/share/c1cf5450c2778813172cdb01192768f8"&gt;University House Atrium&lt;/a&gt; and made available for immediate use.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;This building requires your valid &lt;a href="https://warwick.ac.uk/services/universitycards/"&gt;University ID card&lt;/a&gt; to be scanned at the front door to gain access.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Please follow all relevant &lt;a href="https://www.gov.uk/coronavirus"&gt;government guidelines and advice&lt;/a&gt; in relation to social distancing and hand washing when using this facility.&lt;/p&gt;

      <description>&lt;p&gt;On Wednesday 28th July 2019 there will be no access to printing and photocopying services provided by IT Services from 6.30PM till 9.30PM as major server upgrade work is carried out during the evening.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;This includes all Staff &amp;amp; Student pull and push printing, including that within the Linux Managed desktop, MobilePrint, Airprint, Mail2Me (Scan to Email), Copy (including Library Visitor Cards), the printing.warwick.ac.uk webpage, SafeCom Saveometer and Autostore (Scan to Folder) and the processing of Printer Credits will also be offline.&lt;/p&gt;

      <title>Trial of 90 gsm paper within the Library MFDs</title>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;IT Services are in the process of trialing a new type of heavier weight paper within the &lt;a href="http://www2.warwick.ac.uk/services/its/servicessupport/printing/studentprinting"&gt;Student Print Estate&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;This will be focussed upon the devices located within the main Library building (all floors and including rooms 039 and 041) and is expected to come into effect from &lt;strong&gt;12PM Friday 15th May&lt;/strong&gt;.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The purpose of this trial is to asses whether the newer paper can offer a lower jam rate, higher quality of reproduction, reduced staff support overhead, balanced against an improved ability to deal with high coverage duplex mono and colour prints.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The new paper is also considerably whiter than the current choice that has been used previously.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The Library has been chosen due to it being a very high volume location with high footfall and a significant local support presence.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;If this exercise is considered to be a success we will asses the operational benefits and economic implication of a longer term switch to this type of paper.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;No rise in cost to our customers will occur.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

      <title>Student Printing - Charges Reduced!</title>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;a href="http://www2.warwick.ac.uk/services/its"&gt;IT Services&lt;/a&gt; and &lt;a href="http://www2.warwick.ac.uk/services/retail/warwickprint/"&gt;warwickprint&lt;/a&gt; are pleased to announce that as part of our continuing drive for service improvement and as a consequence of the success of the &lt;a href="http://www2.warwick.ac.uk/services/its/servicessupport/printing/manageddeptprinting/"&gt;Managed Print Service (MPS)&lt;/a&gt; we have been able to &lt;strong&gt;lower&lt;/strong&gt; our colour student printing prices by as much as &lt;strong&gt;26.32%&lt;/strong&gt;. This follows on from a similar reduction in pricing that took place in April 2014.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Colour A4 single sided was, 20p now 15p - a reduction of 25%&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Colour A4 double sided was, 38p now 28p - a reduction of 26.32%&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Colour A3 single sided was, 40p now 30p - a reduction of 25%&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Colour A3 double sided was, 78p now 58p - a reduction of 25.65%&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;These reductions came into effect at &lt;strong&gt;8AM on Monday 5th January&lt;/strong&gt;.&lt;/p&gt;

Even if the price is advertiesed as higher you will only be charged using the new prices.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
