      <title>CLL visit Kenya</title>

      <description>&lt;div class="news-thumbnail" style="float: left; margin-right: 10px; margin-bottom: 5px;"&gt;&lt;img class="thumbnail" width="100" height="100" src="https://warwick.ac.uk/sitebuilder2/file/study/cll/about/news?sbrPage=%2Fstudy%2Fcll%2Fabout%2Fnews&amp;newsItem=8a17841a6da67569016dc9c0ab6c0b95" alt="image"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;p style="text-align: justify;"&gt;Dr Anne Hollinshead, Director of the Centre for Lifelong Learning and Dr Sarah Cousins, Director of Early Years Programmes, Interim Director of Academic Studies, Centre for Lifelong Learning have been in discussions with a Kenyan Educational Trust &amp;ndash; Stadi za Maisha (translates as &#8216;skills of life&#8217;) about possible collaborative activities with themselves, the State Ministry of Education, the County Ministry of Education, Kenyatta University (centre for lifelong learning) and the Kenyan Institute of Special education (KISE).&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p style="text-align: justify;"&gt;A scoping visit took place in Nairobi 30/9 &amp;ndash; 4/10 where Anne and Sarah were hosted by&lt;/p&gt;

      <title>Dr Christine Harrison travels to Engus, Nigeria for #PressforProgress, International Women's Day Event</title>

      <description>&lt;p class="xxxmsonormal"&gt;One of CLL&#8217;s Associate Professors and member of the Centre for the Study of Safety and WellBeing (SWELL) will be travelling to Enuba, Nigeria for a conference organised to mark International Women&#8217;s Day on March 7, which aims to challenge domestic violence and abuse. Dr Christine Harrison, who has co-ordinated and taught child care and child protection social work for the last 25 years, will join other key speakers at the event organised by non-governmental women&#8217;s empowerment organisation, Power to Choose together with the Nchekwa Oha Advocay Foundation.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
