	&lt;p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;b&gt;This workshop will introduce key concepts from public engagement theory that can support good practice. From understanding your purpose to tailoring for your audience, we will explore the important questions to consider when designing and developing public engagement activity and the value of this to both individuals and the institution. She has extensive experience in outreach and public engagement, and works closely with students, staff and community partners to create accessible and engaging projects.&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Held jointly by the &lt;b&gt;University of Warwick's Centre for the History of Medicine, Science and Technology, and Modern Records Centre&lt;/b&gt;, the event will run alongside an exhibition which will explore some of the themes covered by the speakers through the National Union of Mineworkers' archives.&lt;/p&gt;
