PPL Student among Student journalists from Warwick celebrated at National Awards

The University of Warwick’s student newspaper, The Boar, has been celebrated at the Student Publication Association National Awards. Winners included PPL student Eden Fall-Bailey, who won Best Interview.

Maurizio Cuttin is a 22-year-old representing the United Kingdom's young people in some of the world's most recognisable political institutions. Cuttin has been elected Deputy Member of Youth Parliament, a Youth G7 UK Ambassador, and served on several UN Youth Forums. Maurizio graduated from Warwick PPL in 2022.

The University of Warwick has further cemented its position as one of the UK’s best universities - after being ranked 9th overall by The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2023. Politics was ranked 2nd in the UK, Philosophy 5th, making Warwick an excellent University for the study of PPL.

Commenting on the latest Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) report, released today, Dr Morten Fibieger Byskov said:

"The report shows the need to take the necessary steps to close the adaptation gap, including addressing the global socioeconomic inequalities that disproportionally distribute climate risks and vulnerabilities onto poor and marginalised communities in the Global South."
