Modern Records Centre staff have dipped into the archives to produce a new exhibition featuring a range of snapshots of life in 1965, the year when the University of Warwick first opened its doors.

Yorkshire miners' union archives catalogued

More than 500 boxes of archives relating to the Yorkshire Miners' Association and National Union of Mineworkers Yorkshire Area have been catalogued. The archives cover more than 150 years of mining history, from the mid-19th century to the early 21st.

Suffragettes, Stereotypes, Voices and Votes: exhibition at the MRC

Our new exhibition ‘Suffragettes, Stereotypes, Voices and Votes’ features sources on the Suffragette movement and women’s changing role in society from the 1920s to the present day.

Documents on display include two circulars by leading British women's rights activist and key figure in the Suffragette movement Emmeline Pankhurst.
