  deadline 6th September** The RAEng Research Fellowships are designed to
  promote excellence in engineering. They provide support for high-qualit
 y engineers and encourage them to develop successful academic research c
 areers. Limited number of applications per University (3) please discuss
  with HOD. Applications will be reviewed internally - please use the app
 lication form to submit by 17th Jluy. Applications are welcomed from out
 standing early career researchers who are about to finish their PhD or h
 ave been awarded their PhD in the last four years. The scheme provides f
 unding for five years to encourage the best researchers to remain in the
  academic engineering sector. All applicants will need to have identifie
 d and be actively supported by a UK higher education host institution. T
 he closing date is now 4pm on Wednesday 6 September not Monday 4 Septemb
 er. Every university can now submit three applications instead of two ap
 plications. The two exceptions remain the same as before\, so with excep
 tion one in place\, universities could submit four applications. Please 
 note: Universities should still only submit applications if they are con
 sidered high quality within their internal ranking system. There is only
  ONE application stage this year. ALL information will need to be submit
 ted by the closing date. There is TWO review stages before candidates re
 ach the interviews. A generalist review followed by a Sift Panel and the

 The Royal Academy of Engineering (RAEng) has launched its annual call fo
 r postdoctoral fellowships\, with a deadline of 6 September 2017. This y
 ear they are offering additional Development Research Fellowships for re
 search aligned to Global Challenges Research Fund (GCRF). See scheme det
