Energy GRP - Talk with Kate Ashworth from Energy Capital - 'Regional Energy System Operator - A place-based approach to power, heat and transport'
B2.04/5 Science Concourse

In order to meet our challenging climate change objectives, energy systems will need to become more interconnected. Increasing complexity in energy systems will need careful planning at a local and regional level in order to capitalise on local opportunities and overcome place-specific barriers. New commercial and regulatory models are being developed which could support the transition to a near-zero carbon system.

A light lunch will be served at 12:30 outside the room and the talk will begin at 13:00.
