Getting to Co-creation
At our last event, "Moving Warwick Towards Co-creation", we identified a number of institutional barriers to co-creation. This event will bring together staff and students to co-create solutions and a way forwards. We will select 3 or 4 barriers to tackle, then as a group generate ideas for solutions, and create some practical action plans.

Following on from October’s sell out event, join us for another Science on the Hill, this time exploring the Biology of Stress. Biomedical scientists and psychologists will come together to provide an evening of talks, discussions, and audience participation. We’ll consider how stress affects our bodies and our minds – how it impacts the tiny molecules that make up our cells, all the way up to changing our bodies’ rhythms, and our thoughts and reasoning.

In this session Petra will cover some of the most common questions PhD candidates have, including what to expect from your supervisor, milestones in the first year of your PhD, addressing your training needs, managing your time (particularly if you struggle in this area), and how to look after your safety and wellbeing.

The study café scheme is a regular drop-in learning supported provided by the Arts Faculty DSEP team (every Wednesday, 2-5pm, FAB Mezzanine MOO2). The study café provides students with hot/cold drinks, biscuits and snacks as well as the on-site tutor for study support. We are especially focussed on study skills, note-taking techniques, academic writing, planning, managing time, dealing with complexity, combating procrastination and "imposter syndrome", student research projects, digital tools and techniques, inclusivity, and assessment advice.
