In memoriam: Charlotte Penny

The University is deeply saddened by news of the death of Charlotte Penny, an undergraduate student in Maths, who passed away recently.

Reflecting on the sad news, Charlotte’s personal tutor, Andreas Dedner, said:

"During the two years I had the pleasure of being Charlotte's personal tutor, I have always greatly enjoyed our meetings.

Charlotte was a very good student but more importantly she was always a friendly, charismatic member of the group. She will be sorely missed by the whole tutor group. I am deeply saddened by the news of her death and my sincere condolences go out to her family and friends."

We know this will be distressing and unexpected news for everyone, especially those who knew Charlotte personally. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you need support.
