In Memoriam: Maxwell Larweh

The University is deeply saddened by the news that Maxwell Larweh, a WMS PhD student, passed away recently.

Professor Sudhesh Kumar, Dean of Medicine said “I was deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Maxwell. He was an accomplished student with many excellent qualities. Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this very difficult time.”

Reflecting on the sad news Dr Sophie Rees, one of his PhD supervisors said: “Maxwell was a lively, bright young man who was passionate about his PhD and improving the treatment of people with dementia in Ghana. He will be missed by all those who knew him.”

There is an online book of condolences where friends and colleagues can now share memories and messages of condolence.
