The Dirty Duck

Join us for a traditional Christmas meal on Thursday 19th December in the Dirty Duck.

Open to all International students, Postgraduates and any Undergraduates who are still around on campus in the run up to Christmas, in collaboration with World at Warwick and Warwick Student Opportunity, we are offering a 2 course meal for £5 or a 3 course meal for £6.

You are welcome to come along as a group or even on your own. We can promise you plenty of fun and games!

*Seating plan submission, meal options and dietary requirements will go live Thursday 21st November and will close at midday Friday 13th December. You must select your meal options prior to 13th December to guarantee your preferred options.

The ancient city of York is the ideal place to get a taste of the north of England. You'll find a wealth of things to do and places to see, like York Dungeon, the York Castle Museum, York Minster, Jorvik Viking Museum, the National Railway Museum and much more! Or if you prefer, take a wander through the old city streets, squeeze through the famous "Shambles", or around the old city walls. This is an especially exciting time to be visiting York, as the annual "Jorvik" Viking Festival will be taking place: a city-wide celebration of York's rich norse history. A trip not to be missed!

Windsor is an ancient town most famous for its castle. Windsor Castle is the oldest and largest inhabited castle in the world. It has been the family home of British kings and queens for almost 1,000 years. It is an official residence of Her Majesty The Queen, whose standard flies from the Round Tower when she is in residence.

Trip to Peak District

Join us to kick off the summer term with a journey to the beautiful rolling hills and valleys of Derbyshire. The day will be split into two parts. The morning will take us to Castleton, an idyllic village in the High Peak area that boasts a whole host of fascinating things to do, including the impressive subterranean world of Peak Cavern,
Speedwell Cavern, or the lofty views from Peveril Castle. You can take your pick of things to do, or buy a ticket for a tour through Peak Cavern from us when booking to take advantage of a discounted price.

At lunchtime, we'll continue on to Bakewell and Chatsworth House. You'll have the option of spending your afternoon in the picturesque town of Bakewell on the river Wye, or at Chatsworth House, a grand stately home sitting within miles of estate land and garden. If you wish to split your time between Bakewell and Chatsworth, we will also provide a shuttle service in both directions mid-afternoon.
