Lunar New Year Wishing Tree - Make your wish!

Praying for good luck at the Lam Tsuen Wishing Trees is one of Hong Kong’s most delightful and well-preserved traditions. On Tuesday 28 January please swing past the tree between Senate House and the Chaplaincy to write down your wishes for the New Year on a paper, tie it to an orange and throw it up into the tree’s branches. Legend has it that if the orange successfully lodges in the tree without falling back to earth, the wish will come true - All students are welcome to participate, and there is no need to book!
