Part 1 of 3: "Intercultural Awareness"

Join us for this highly enjoyable and interactive workshop: the first part of the intercultural training programme that aims to help you develop your intercultural skills and competence.

This first workshop explores cultural influences, attitudes and behaviours, and includes an intercultural simulation game. You may find this workshop especially useful if you are seeking to understand, communicate and build effective relationships with those from different cultural backgrounds.

The workshop leads onto three short supporting online modules and reflective activities that give you the opportunity to build your intercultural knowledge and reflect on your learning and experiences.

The intercultural training programme is delivered by the International Student Office in partnership with the Centre for Applied Linguistics (CAL) with content being devised by leading Warwick academics in the field of Intercultural Communication.

Please note that the open programme of stage 1 workshops has now ended for this academic year. Please check back at the end of September 2019 for details of term 1 workshops.
