The ancient city of York is the ideal place to get a taste of the north of England. You'll find a wealth of things to do and places to see, like York Dungeon, the York Castle Museum, York Minster, Yorvik Viking Museum, the National Railway Museum and much more! Or if you prefer, take wander through the old city streets, squeeze through the famous "Shambles", or around the old city walls. This trip will take place during the famous "Yorvik" Viking Festival, so the city will be alive with the legends of its ancient history. A trip not to be missed!

Oxford, the so-called City of Dreaming Spires, boasts 1,500 listed buildings from every major period of British architectural history from the 11th century onwards. The centre looks like an enchanted fairy-tale city - no wonder Oxford is a firm favourite of film makers from all over the world, and has inspired countless famous writers over the centuries.

Join us for the first trip of the summer term, to the beautiful rolling hills and valleys of Derbyshire. The day will be split into two parts. The morning will take us to Castleton, an idyllic village in the High Peak area that boasts a whole host of fascinating things to do, including the impressive subterranean world of Peak Cavern,
Speedwell Cavern, or the lofty views from Peveril Castle. You can take your pick of things to do, or buy a ticket for a tour through Peak Cavern from us when booking to take advantage of a discounted price.

At lunchtime, we'll continue on to Bakewell, where the annual Bakewell food festival will be taking place. Bakewell has quite a few sights of its own to see, and is the ideal place to spend a leisurely afternoon sampling Derbyshire delicacies.

With the largest collection of museums and galleries anywhere outside of the Capital, Liverpool’s culture and heritage are at the very heart of the city.

We're particularly excited to be visiting Liverpool during the annual International Mersey River Festival! Over the course of the weekend, Liverpool will be playing host to some of the most impressive tall ships on the waves. Along with stalls and live music all around the waterfront, Albert Dock and Mann Island areas, the city will be positively buzzing with exciting activity.

The summer term would not be complete without a trip to Blackpool. Blackpool Pleasure Beach is the ideal place for thrill seekers; with 8 rollercoasters and several other rides. Visit Blackpool tower, the iconic feature of Blackpool’s famous seafront. Take a walk through Tower Dungeon, not for the faint hearted; where 10 live shows give you an exciting, scary and funny journey through 1,000 years of Lancashire’s murky past; there is also a Sea Life Centre showcasing over 1,000 spectacular aquatic creatures across 50 dazzling displays, SEA LIFE Blackpool is sure to excite visitors of all ages.
