Castleton, Bakewell & Chatsworth
BOOK NOW!
Meeting Point: On-Campus Coach Park (near Bluebell) - Booking Required!

Join us for the first trip of the summer term, to the beautiful rolling hills and valleys of Derbyshire. The day will be split into two parts. The morning will take us to Castleton, an idyllic village in the High Peak area that boasts a whole host of fascinating things to do, including the impressive subterranean world of Peak Cavern,
Speedwell Cavern, or the lofty views from Peveril Castle. You can take your pick of things to do, or buy a ticket for a tour through Peak Cavern from us when booking to take advantage of a discounted price.

At lunchtime, we'll continue on to spend the afternoon in the area around Bakewell and Chatsworth House. Bakewell is a picturesque town on the river Wye, with countless historic buildings and famous for the local delicacy of "Bakewell Pudding" (not to be confused with the Bakewell Tart). A short bus ride away, Chatsworth House is a beautiful stately home surrounded by miles of gardens and estate land. You'll have the option of spending the afternoon in Bakewell or at Chatsworth, but we'll also provide a coach in both directions mid-afternoon if you do wish to split your time between the two.

With its unique attractions, exciting events, world class sport offerings, unrivalled musical heritage as the home of the Beatles, and famously warm welcomes, Liverpool is the ideal destination to visit and explore. With the largest collection of museums and galleries anywhere outside of the Capital, Liverpool’s culture and heritage are at the very heart of the city.

We're particularly excited to be visiting Liverpool during the annual International Mersey River Festival! Over the course of the weekend, Liverpool will be playing host to some of the most impressive tall ships on the waves.
