At the end of Term 1, 35 bands battled it out for the trophy of " Best Band" on stage at the Copper Rooms!

Holi Colour Party

Popularised in films and music videos, Holi is the Hindu colour festival to welcome spring. Even the snow couldn't hold back 300 students from the wonders of technicolour and, as you'd expect, the photos are a joy to behold.

Pancake Mardi Gras

The start of Lent is celebrated in different ways around the world, from Pancake Day in the UK, to Mardi Gras in New Orleans and Carnival in Brazil and parts of Europe. We brought all these celebrations together under one roof and the results were flipping fabulous!

Lunar New Year

We were delighted to see so many of you celebrate Lunar New Year with us! We nearly deafened ourselves with firecrackers, roared at the lion dancers, brushed up our calligraphy skills and made a sweet wish at the Wishing Tree.

Inspired loosely by the BBC favourite 'The Apprentice', this team building game, brought to you by Escape Live, teammates to the test to try and beat the world-famous boardroom!

An astronaut, talking bins, lasers and a celebrity cat - a true night of wonder and wander.

Crystal Maze Challenge

To the Aztec Zone! Teams competed on campus in crystal maze style challenges, including the infamous crystal dome.

Take 24

A Spring Term Welcome 2022 event, this film festival saw teams compete to make their own micro-short film in just 24 hours!

Spring Term Cook Off

Teams of students competed in Spring Term 2022 to make the most deliciously instagrammable meals.

Inflatable Day

A fun, action packed 2 days of sports activities with a 600ft obstacle course, inflatable volleyball, inflatable dodgeball and inflatable table football.

Residential Community Team

The RCT's goal is to build a safe and welcoming community for all students living in on-campus residences and create a sense of belonging.

Throughout the year RCT host a variety of free events for you to enjoy, so keep an eye on your residency webpage or our Instagram (RCT_Warwickuni) for what's on!

Breaking EggsLink opens in a new window

Warwick Arts Centre aim to support the next generation of artists and arts audiences and have had some incredible collaborations with students and societies in the past. Now they're looking to make it easier for more students to share their emerging ideas and talent.

Breaking Eggs will support up to two student collaboration events per term. Submissions are only accepted from Warwick students, events can take the shape of performances, workshops, talks, screenings and more.

Staff Groups Involved in Social Inclusion

There are a wide range of staff networks and many are also open to PhD students.

BAME, Carers, Digital Accessibility, Disabled, Diversity Book Club, Jewish, LGBTQU+, Menopause, Part-time Staff, Stand with Ukraine, Support for parents/carers of neurodivergent young people, Working Parents.

Early Career Staff Network

This new group (established June 2022) is solely focused on meeting and socialising with fellow early career staff members at Warwick who are a few years in or starting out in their careers. PhD students are also welcome.
