James McGeoghegan is a Teaching Fellow with ten years’ experience working in Local authority Children and Families teams in Warwickshire and Coventry including latterly in Child Protection and Intake teams.
In 2008, he graduated from Warwick with an MA in Social Work. His first degree in Social Studies was also gained at the University of Warwick, as well as post qualifying qualifications specialising in Children and Families Social work.
Jim worked extensively across Probation and Youth Offending Services from 1998 to 2004 including a 2 year period working with young people on remand in prison. His particular areas of interest are working with perpetuators of domestic violence and links between poverty and neglect in Child Protection.
