Shortlist in UK Career Development Awards for two CDCS students

The UK Career Development Awards 2019 takes place on March 6 and two Centre for Lifelong Learning students have received nominations. The awards showcase and celebrate the very best UK-wide practice in career development, with three major categories and ten individual awards. This year we are celebrating two of our students being shortlisted in the awards, both for Research Undertaken by a Careers Professional in the Best Practice Technology and Research Awards.


CLL leads the way on employability in HE

A career consultant at the University of Chester has achieved national recognition for his outstanding work on a CPD course based in Warwick’s Centre for Lifelong Learning.

The John Roberts Memorial Prize for Professional Achievement is awarded annually to the best student on the joint University of Warwick and AGCAS Career Education, Information, and Guidance in Higher Education (CEIGHE) postgraduate qualifications. AGCAS is the expert membership organisation for higher education student career development and graduate employment professionals.


CLL student presents dissertation research at international conference

Shaheen Akhtar, who has recently completed her MA in Career Development and Coaching Studies, travelled to Padua, Italy, in early October along with Course Director and dissertation supervisor Gill Frigerio to attend a 3 day conference on ‘Decent Work, Equity and Inclusion’.

Phil McCash delivers workshop at Career Development Institute Student Conference

Phil McCash, will deliver a workshop at the Career Development Institute (CDI) Student Conference, later today.

'Career helping at depth: working with the whole person in careers work' will discuss the relationship between depth psychology and career development.

Phil McCash published in new book ‘Graduate Employability in Context’

A chapter written by Phil McCash, Director of the Career, Education, Information and Guidance Programme, has been published in a new book entitled ‘Graduate Employability in Context: Theory, Research and Debate’.
