My name is Li, Chunlan, and my English name is Lily. I was born in in Shanghai. I got my bachelor’s degree from Shanghai University Law School. The college education broaden my horizons and helped me how to deal with difficult things.

In 1999, I started my first job job with The People’s Government of of Zhoupu Town and worked as a chief director of social department. In 2006, I was appointed vice mayor of The People’s Government of Huinan town. What I was in charge of included community management, education and sports. I have been working in Education Bureau of Pudong New Area Government since 2009.

I think I’m a good team player and I’m an optimistic person, always look on the bright side of things. I enjoy thinking, enjoy learning, enjoy working, and I am able to bear work pressure. In my spare time, I like reading. Jane Eyre is my favorite English book.

I am Li, fang and my English name is Ellen. I am from Shanghai, China. I was born in Jiangxi which is the central province of China. My hometown is a beautiful city and people there are very friendly. I graduated from East China University of science and Technology in 2006, and my major is sociology.

I work at the people’s government of Zhujing Town, and I am in charge of community service, cultural and ethical progresses.

It’s my great honor to join this training program. I hope that I can learn more about social management and advanced experience in NGO. I am looking forward to the six month’s study in Warwick University.

My name is Li Wenbo and you can call me Robert. I work as Deputy Director of Putuo District Science and Technology Commission, in charge of high-tech enterprises, little giants, science parks and incubators. It’s my responsibility to lead my team to help companies apply for science-technology programs, be familiar with the sci-tech policies, and further more, make use of these policies and our good services to be more stronger. I’m very glad to see that many small companies have developed into big modern high-tech enterprises with the help of my team. Prior to this, I worked as a deputy director of Putuo District Information Commission, and was responsible for the Information industry Development.

Before becoming a government official, I graduated from Tongji University with Master of Computer Software, and worked there as a university teacher for twelve years. During the work, I got the PhD Degree and also worked in several computer companies in my part time.

Since the UK is the birthplace of the cultural and creative industry, and it make full use of public policy to promote the development of cultural and creative industries, I want to learn from the successful experience of UK and gain the enlightenment from British practice to the development of creative industry in our country.

To work is to live -- and I love to live. In my leisure time I enjoy reading, music, travel and sports.

My name is Shen, Danna (English name also Danna). I come from Shanghai Yongye Enterprise (Group) Co., Ltd. which is a state-owned real estate development company. Our company has the first-class qualification of real estate development approved by the State Ministry of Construction. It is ranked among the top 50 real estate developers in Shanghai for five consecutive years.

I entered Yongye Group 14 years ago. Luckily, the time I am in the company is the time that real estate market in China undergoes remarkable changes. Our company has been benefited from it and developed rapidly throughout the past decade. As one of the employees, now the deputy general manager of the company, in charge of investment and HR, I witness and participate in the rapid expansion of our company. In addition, our company is one of the first state-owned companies in Shanghai which have established strategic partner relations with certain renowned international capitals. Having cooperated with various multinational corporations, it is interesting to observe how a company operates from inside and how they deal with both customers and staff. I take every opportunity to learn from my job and feel it has given me a much more practical understanding of how a business functions.

I graduated from Tongji University in China and gained a bachelor degree there. With the aim of being a qualified senior manager, I chose the EMBA program in finance & accounting management which is jointly conducted by Shanghai National Accounting Institute and Arizona State University. In 2011, I received the master degree of business administration.

I'm a friendly and optimistic person, always looking forward. I wouldn’t call myself introverted though sometimes I’m inclined to think independently and enjoy staying by myself. I'm looking forward to learning more in relation to my job and having more new friends in the University of Warwick.

Hi, I am Xia Yu and my English name is Rain. I was born and bred in Shanghai, a city full of hope and vitality.

Now, I am working for the Science and Technology Commission of Huangpu District, positioning as the deputy director in charge of earthquake work. My duty is to help residents to gain the skill of escaping from earthquake, to raise the awareness of people on earthquake prevention, and to improve the ability of emergency rescue operation. I have much enthusiasm for my work.

Besides, I have a lot of hobbies, ranging from reading, traveling to swimming. Two years ago, I began to take interest in Taiji Quan and now I can do it.

I love to come to UK, not only for its long history but also for its culture which has influenced the western world. I also love to join the university of Warwick. Its beautiful campus has impressed me deeply. I believe that the six-month experience in Warwick will help me build up a wider understanding of UK, especially its advanced management in emergency operation. I am Ye, Gang, my English name is Gavin. I am from Shanghai, China. I was born in Anhui province. When I was enrolled at East China University of Politics and Law, I began my life in Shanghai.

From 2010-2014, I worked as a Deputy Warden of Qingpu Prison, and in charge of correction of prisoners. At present, I am Deputy Director of Science and Technology, Division of Shanghai Prison Administration. The main work of mine in the division now is planning, directing, constructing and maintaining software, hardware, or system about information technology of all prisons of Shanghai.

I am interested in prison management in the UK, especially in treatment programmes, education and correction, etc.
