A 'Basic WIKI' uses a Basic page template, with Allow page comments option. It can be used for a number of purposes, including: allowing students to create a WIKI on a very specific topic/theme/activity with a word limit; allowing non-University staff/students (e.g. a mentor) to comment on a student's e-portfolio and encourage the building of evidence, dialogue and collaboration - no emails required. This can be done by adding page passwords to student's work (see Session 6: Administration).
