Having spent some time considering what we are doing and how we are doing it, lets now turn to the question of how well we are doing it, and how we can answer that question.
A key resource here is the Quality Assurance Agency's 'Quality Code', in particular Chapter B4: Enabling Student Progression and Achievement. The chapter can be downloaded here.
The Quality Code lays out an 'expectation', which higher education providers are required to meet, and 8 Indicators for this area. The expection is:
Higher education providers have in place, monitor and evaluate arrangements and resources which enable students to develop their academic, personal and professional potential.
