The Institute for Learning closed, with its legacy and assets passing to the Education and Training Foundation in autumn 2014. You can find out more about the future of its professional membership plans on the ETF website here .

There are reports available of two IfL-funded CPD days for members which were organised by WMCETT in 2011 and 2012. These include resources on dealing with behavioural challenges in the classroom, using digital technologies and dealing with autistic spectrum learners.

Anne Schofield, who works in the Centre for Lifelong Learning at the University of Warwick, and has worked closely with WMCETT, was formerly an IfL Regional Adviser and then an IfL CETT Connection for the West Midlands.
