The course will run over two days, March 2 and 24 and also involve two online modules. To book a place, for £100, see the Education and Training Foundation's English Enhancement Programme list of direct delivery events here . Places have to be booked via the ETF website and cannot be booked directly with WMCETT. The course will take place on the University of Warwick's Westwood campus in Coventry.

The Education and Training Foundation have now launched the English Enhancement Programme across England.

The programme has the same aim as last year's Mathematics Enhancement Programme - to upskill teachers in all sectors of further education who may currently be teaching functional skills or literacy and numeracy so they can teach GCSE to post-16 students, this time English language. However there was one sort of maths training, and places were booked locally, but with the English programme there is a centralised booking system, and a number of options to chose from.

The Foundation has created five training pathways designed to meet the needs of different people in the sector. Anyone within the sector is eligible to take part in the programme as long as they are currently employed by an SFA/EFA funded institution, and training places cost £100 per delegate.

WMCETT can help you decide which pathway is right for you. We have a Regional English Specialist who will be able to discuss the right route for you or your staff, and can help with the booking process. Catriona Mowat can be contacted on , and she will get back to you or arrange a time to talk.
