Improving the quality of teaching and learning

Improving quality of teaching and learning (with little or no budget)

Wednesday, June 22, Rodbaston campus, South Staffordshire College, Penkridge, Staffs, ST19 5PH

The purpose of this FREE event is to share practice on how the quality of teaching and learning in an organisation can still be improved, without the benefit of a large CPD budget. It is aimed at people concerned with staff development in a college or any other training environment dealing with post-16 learners.

Participants will:

  • See short presentations from two lead partners in the ETF’s Outstanding, Teaching, Learning and Assessment project about their practical research, results and how their organisations have continued to develop and benefit from it after the projects ended – and how others can do similar
  • View other examples of methods for improving quality of teaching and learning
  • See a range of available free resources, including Jisc and ETF
  • Share expertise on their own approaches to improving quality of teaching and learning
  • Have access to an online discussion forum to share resources and ideas afterwards, and be supported to continue working together
  • Be invited to attend an autumn showcase event to feed back and share new developments

To attend this event, please fill in the questionnaire on the top right of this page and return it to WMCETT Project Manager Julie Chamberlain at J.chamberlain@warwick.ac.uk
