Maths Professional Development Lead Support Programme

Do you have any experienced maths teachers or trainers who might be interested in the NCETM Professional Development Lead Support Programme (FE and Skills)?

Following successful completion of the programme the accredited person will be equipped to deliver professional development to teachers/trainers teaching Level 2 Mathematics or who are teaching in a vocational context. This includes being able to run some of the current ETF pipeline workshops (e.g. Deepening your understanding of number and all the vocational vitalisers) and therefore will be able to potentially contribute to future staff development in your organisation.

Specifically, the NCETM welcomes applications to take part in this programme from anyone already involved in providing mathematics CPD in the FE and skills sector and especially those with experience of training provider, vocational settings and the secure estate, in particular:

  • staff and other colleagues from training providers, work based, vocational settings and the secure estate charged with organising and running mathematics PD opportunities;
  • others working within the FE and skills sector area, charged with organising and delivering mathematics PD opportunities.independent mathematics consultants and organisations offering mathematics PD;
  • and colleagues from HE institutions offering PD for the FE and Skills sector.
