Charisma: The cult of the leader from Napoleon to Stalin

10-week non-accredited

Napoleon Bonaparte knew how to manipulate representations of himself as leader in order to project an image of France as a glorious nation. This course charts developments in propaganda techniques and the changing roles of political leadership in the modern world.
