Read what Joe had to say about his experience of studying here...

"Studying a part-time degree with CLL has supported my career progress within Higher Education. It has given me tools, such as critical analysis and has built my confidence within an academic setting. I have been able to apply these skills and knowledge to my work throughout my time. Coming from a background in sports development, I have three modules that I have enjoyed the most; IATL’s Sport, Philosophy and Practice and the History Department’s Social History of Cricket and Global History of Football. The modules were fantastic, as I was able to apply academic learning to a subject I am genuinely interested in.

I never went to University when I was young and the course provided the perfect opportunity to get back into learning. It has been difficult at times balancing personal commitments and working full time, but the course does allow for a degree of flexibility for people to achieve their aims. It has been interesting studying alongside a number of students who are from different backgrounds. I have found the teaching to be a real highlight of the course and enjoyed learning from some truly talented academics."
