Alex Kharlamov

Alexander A. Kharlamov is research student and an engineer working at WMG, University of Warwick.

Main activity

Alex's PhD is focused on exploring the role of visual analytics to control human bias in the supply chain planning process and support the adoption of supply chain segmentation. By taking a behavioural perspective on O&SCM, the interest is in designing environments around the natural mind's design, accounting for its virtues and limitations, hence enabling better decisions.

Extracurricular

In parallel, also known for a long term artistic activity in the field of photography (fine art nude and portraiture) and painting/drawing. Alex's work was published in several magazines and books, exhibited and awarded few times over the last eleven years. Best known for the hybrid process - mixed medium pieces using medium/large format film and free-hand drawing techniques to create surrealistic compositions.
